A native of the San Francisco bay area and a graduate of Pitzer College with a Bachelors of Arts with a combined major of Psychology and Anthropology, Jon has 20 years of sales and marketing experience with companies such as QuinStreet and Trouve’ Media, as well as significant private entity start-up experience. Jon’s diverse background and connection to the bay area community afforded him remarkable opportunities ranging from local San Francisco Bay Area donors, donor advised funds, and companies. Jon worked in Sierra National forest early in his career and spent several summers at Skylake Yosemite Camp, where he eventually was a Program Director. At Touve’ Media (acquired by BankRate), Jon was the Director of Business Development and oversaw a large percentage of their online media portfolio.
Jon’s background in marketing, fundraising, and community volunteer efforts has helped align his experience with what is needed to further the funds development and marketing strategies at One Step Beyond, Inc. Jon has filled an important need for the organization with his expertise in cultivating partnerships with individuals, major donors, companies, and One Step Beyond, Inc. families. Jon spends his personal time camping, fishing, golfing, and working on projects that drives his passion for the environment. Jon has close friends and family members who are on the Autism Spectrum and is committed to helping individuals in the special needs community.
